Halloween Safety and Security Tips by Alliance Training and Testing

  Safety Tips for Trick-or-Treaters  Go trick-or-treating with a group of friends or family members.  Stay in well-lit areas and streets. Don't go into any stranger's home or car.  Only eat candy given to you by someone you know.  Be careful while crossing streets.  Wear reflective tape on your costume so drivers can see you.  Carry a flashlight or glow stick to see and be seen.  Tell an adult where you're going and when you expect to be back.  If you see something suspicious, tell an adult or call the police.  Halloween Masks Make sure the mask fits snugly but comfortably.  Avoid masks covering your entire face, which can restrict your breathing.  If you are wearing a mask with a long wig, make sure it is tied back so it does not get caught in anything.  If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, remove the mask and take a break.  Do not wear a mask while driving or operating machinery.  Supervise young children closely ...
